What is a HEIC file?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is a photo format commonly used by iPhones. JPG is supported by more websites and apps.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion runs locally in your browser. Your selected photos are not uploaded to Skyconvert.
Can I convert several photos at once?
Yes. Select up to 15 HEIC or HEIF images per batch, with a maximum of 35 MB per file.
Will conversion reduce image quality?
JPG uses lossy compression, so some quality may be lost. PNG output is lossless, but it cannot restore detail already lost in the original HEIC image.
Why did my HEIC file fail?
Some HEIC variants, animated images, and large photos may not be supported by the browser-based decoder. Try a different browser or a smaller image.
